Job Description
-Graduate of BS Accountancy
-Preferably a CPA
-With at least 5 years of work experience as Accounting Manager preferably in a manufacturing company
Duties and Responsibilities:
1, Responsible for overseeing accounting functions and activities.
2. Formulate accounting policies and establish internal control system.
3. Determine improvement in the accounting process flows for continuous system refinement.
4. Compute tax on fringe benefits received by supervisors and managers for the month and prepare journal
entries related thereto.
5. Determine monthly accrual of employee benefits and prepare journal entries related thereto.
6. Reconcile monthly cash balances per bank and per books.
7. Calculate cost of goods manufactured and sold for the month and prepare journal entries related thereto.
8. Determine revaluation of inventories based on lower of cost or market price. Prepare journal entries, if necessary.
9. Calculate and accrue quarterly and annual corporate income tax .
10. Process payroll for Japanese expatriates.
11. Process payment of benefits to supervisory and managerial employees.
12. Generate journal entries for exempt employees' payroll and provide details of payroll deductions.
13. Furnish reports and answers to queries by auditors, banks, creditors and government agencies regarding financial information and permanent record of the company.
