Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage and administer our employee compensation, payroll support, and benefits programs. This role ensures accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and efficient handling of employee concerns related to payroll, government-mandated benefits, HMO, and leave. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of Philippine labor laws, payroll systems, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits Administration
Administer government-mandated and company-specific benefits (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, HMO, leave, etc.).
Ensure timely and accurate benefits enrollment and processing for new and existing employees.
Payroll Support
Assist in preparing and processing monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions.
Coordinate with the payroll team for statutory deductions and contributions.
Statutory Compliance
Monitor compliance with government regulations related to employee benefits.
Ensure timely filing and submission of reports to SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, and other regulatory agencies.
Employee Support
Address employee inquiries related to compensation, payroll, HMO, leave balances, and statutory benefits.
Provide clear, timely, and professional communication and support.
Leave Administration
Track and maintain accurate records of employee leave balances and entitlements.
Ensure documentation and policy adherence for all leave requests.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records in HRIS/payroll systems.
Generate and analyze regular reports related to payroll, contributions, and leave management.
Process Improvement & Communication
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Support communication of compensation and benefits policies and updates to employees.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in compensation and benefits, including payroll processing and statutory compliance.
Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits administration.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HR/payroll software.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
