Job Description

A Pollution Control Officer (PCO) is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) rules and regulations. The PCO manages the company’s environmental programs, handles the submission of environmental reports, monitors pollution sources, and ensures the implementation of pollution control strategies.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Must be a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:

Environmental Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Sanitary Engineering
Civil Engineering
Chemistry, or Environmental Science

Licensure/Certification:
Must have completed the Basic PCO Training from a DENR-accredited training provider.
DENR-EMB Accreditation as a PCO
