Job Description
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. A strong understanding of safety protocols, electrical codes, and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
Key responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using appropriate testing devices.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes.
• Collaborate with construction professionals and other tradespeople.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:
• Completion of an electrical program or technical training.
• Valid electrician’s license (as required by state or local authorities).
• Proven experience as an electrician in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
