Japanese-Speaking IT Engineer (with Testing Experience)

We are currently looking for a Japanese-speaking Engineer to act as a bridge between our local team in the Philippines and our partner companies in Japan. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in Japanese and practical experience in software testing, particularly unit testing. Experience in embedded systems development is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the communication bridge between Japanese clients and the local development team.

Execute and manage unit testing and other relevant testing processes.

Create detailed test plans, test specifications, and reports.

Translate and convey technical requirements clearly between stakeholders.

Support project progress tracking and coordination.

Provide regular updates and explanations to clients.

Qualifications:
Required:

Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or higher.

Experience in unit testing or similar testing processes.

Ability to create clear and comprehensive test reports.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:

Experience in creating test plans and specifications for unit tests.

Experience managing unit testing processes.

Hands-on development experience in embedded systems (C language).

Project management background.

Prior work experience in a Japanese company.
