Job Description
The ideal candidate should have strong business development skills, a solid understanding of outsourced service operations, and the ability to customize solutions based on client-specific needs. Experience in handling contracts, tenders, and SLA-based services is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and pursue potential clients in sectors such as commercial buildings, residential complexes, hospitals, malls, educational institutions, and industrial facilities.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, referrals, and digital platforms.
Develop sales pipelines and set appointments for presentations and site assessments.
2. Client Consultation and Needs Analysis
Conduct site visits and meetings to understand client requirements related to manpower, service frequency, equipment needs, and compliance standards.
Customize service offerings based on client-specific challenges in cleaning, technical maintenance, or security.
Provide solutions aligned with budgets, safety protocols, and performance expectations.
3. Proposal Development and Negotiation
Prepare and present tailored proposals and service contracts for:
Housekeeping (daily cleaning, deep cleaning, waste management)
Maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil repair)
Security (guarding, access control, CCTV monitoring)
Negotiate terms, pricing, service levels (SLAs), and contract duration.
Ensure proposals comply with legal and statutory norms (e.g., labor laws, ESI, PF).
4. Coordination with Operations and HR Teams
Work closely with the operations team to ensure resources (manpower, equipment, consumables) are mobilized as per client agreements.
Assist HR in staffing requirements by providing timely client forecasts or changes in scope.
Participate in pre-mobilization meetings and kickoff activities for new contracts.
5. Client Relationship Management
Act as a point of contact for key accounts during and after onboarding.
Regularly follow up with clients to assess satisfaction and address performance gaps or complaints.
Upsell or cross-sell other services (e.g., pest control, façade cleaning, fire & safety audits).
6. Market Research and Competitor Analysis
Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, service innovations, and client expectations.
Identify gaps in current service offerings and recommend improvements or additional services.
Analyze tender opportunities in government and private sectors.
7. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, proposals, contracts, renewals, and follow-ups using CRM systems.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and client feedback to senior management.
Ensure all documentation aligns with internal compliance and audit requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of facility management and statutory compliance (labor laws, safety).
Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and ROI presentations.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Experience in handling RFQs, tenders, and SLA-based contracts.
Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and reporting tools.
