Senior Software Engineer - JAVA

— Work setup: Hybrid set up (2x onsite per week)
— Location: Makati City
— Work Schedule: Morning Shift
— Salary: up to 80,000 + complete benefits

Qualifications:

— At least 4 years experience in Java Development
— Must have experience in SQL
— Should have experience in coding, testing, documentation of solutions
— CLP/CLLE is experience is a plus but not required

General Job Description

· The Senior Software Engineer performs specification, design, coding, testing, documentation of products and services of Solutions.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities

· Responsible for the coding, testing, documentation of solutions
· Ensures that technical specifications, codes and unit test plans are aligned with the traceability matrix or functional Specification
· Liaises with Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements
· Accountable for assigned software and non-software deliverables
· Produces accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the required level of detail in the timescales defined by the project manager
· Generates, prepares and executes unit test plans
· Produces efficient and fully documented codes
· Produces supporting technical and installation documentation for internal and external publication
· Achieves agreed productivity targets in order to ensure solutions are delivered within
· budget, to schedule and according to defined quality standards
· Completes necessary software and non-software components in the timescales as defined by the Project Manager
· Communicates updates and provides reports on status, issues and milestones to Project Manager
· Manages escalation of product issues
· Conducts peer review for sign off.
· Mentors junior team members in leading practices and industry standards
