Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pollution Control Officer to join our team at GJH SERCONS, INC.' in Calaca Batangas. As a full-time Pollution Control Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our company's compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards. This is a crucial role that directly contributes to the environmental sustainability of our operations.
What you'll be doing
Monitoring and analysing air, water, and soil quality to ensure they meet all applicable environmental standards
Developing and implementing pollution control strategies and initiatives to minimise the environmental impact of our operations
Preparing and submitting environmental reports and documentation to regulatory authorities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential environmental risks or issues
Staying up-to-date with changes in environmental legislation and best practices
Providing training and guidance to employees on environmental compliance and best practices
What we're looking for
Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Pollution Control Officer or similar environmental management role
Thorough understanding of environmental regulations and standards, particularly in the Engineering industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address environmental issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in using relevant environmental monitoring and analysis software
