Job Description
. Procurement Responsibilities a.
Sourcing and Purchasing - Identify and source suppliers for items and services, negotiate prices, and purchase materials or services required by the organization.
Vendor Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring consistent quality, timely delivery, and cost-effective solutions. c.
Supplier Evaluation - Assess and evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria such as reliability, quality, price, and service. d.
Contract Management - Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Inventory Management - Oversee inventory levels, ensuring the organization has adequate stock of materials without overstocking or running out.
Cost Control - Monitor and control procurement-related expenditures, ensuring purchases align with budget constraints.
Procurement Planning - Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in line with the organization's needs and objectives.
Compliance and Reporting - Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards. Prepare reports on procurement activities for president.
Logistics Responsibilities
To Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services based on the agreed schedule
a. Scheduling daily and weekly routes. Directing, optimizing and coordinating full travel order cycle
b. Ensure and maintain logs of dispatch activities managed.
c. Supervise the loading and unloading of items from delivery trucks, ensuring that the right items are loaded for delivery/dispatch purposes
d. Monitor deliveries. Addressing problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Ensure project satisfaction and ensure quality performance.
a. Timeliness on serving of Projects Requirements.
b. 100% Compliance with the Materials, tools and equipment request for Projects Requirements.
c. Providing support and communication with project sites and suppliers regarding order status, delivery issues and other inquiries.
Monitoring of Reports and Documentations
a. stocks inventory report
b. stock assets report
c. delivery receipt
d. Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
e. Accomplished and Pending Deliveries, Pick up and Pull-out
Problem Resolution
Addressing and resolving issues related to shipments, inventory discrepancies, and other operational challenges.
Cost Management
Managing and controlling logistics budgets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and logistics operations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with procurement and logistics software and technology.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
