Job Description

Oversees and manages all import and export activities of the company

Ensures compliance: Monitors and ensures adherence to import and export regulations, including customs laws, trade agreements, and licensing requirements.

Customs clearance: Liaise with customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance of imported and exported goods, resolve any issues that arise, and address customs inquiries or audits.

Oversees the facilitation and processing of all required documentations, permits and licenses for import and export.

Oversees the inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely dispatch and arrival of shipments respectively.

Provide an efficient interface with freight forwarders, brokers, relevant government offices and agencies in relation to the Company's Import and Export activities.

Tariff classification: Accurately classify imported and exported goods according to customs tariff codes to determine duty rates and ensure compliance with trade regulations.

Maintain records: Keeps comprehensive records of all import and export transactions, including shipping documents, licenses, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.

Oversees the process documentation, and maintain records of all entries, from importation, delivery, receiving, warehousing, export and liquidation.

Monitors and provides response to all custom inquiries and requests and coordinates to obtain required product certification for all export and import products for custom clearance.

Coordinates with Warehouse Manager to monitor stock levels of imported goods.

Monitors the importation of raw materials and exporting of goods together with Purchasing Manager.

Performs any and all other functions pertinent to Importation and Exportation.
