Holds an active Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) with the US Navy and Military Sealift Command. MSRA was initially obtained in 2008 and is reviewed annually and renewed every four years. Primary maintenance provider for the Philippine Navy through the US Foreign Military Sales program (FMS), performing emergency repairs, extended voyage repairs, dry dockings and dispatching specialized teams to inspect and accomplish mission essential emergent repairs.

Job Description

1. Supervises, plans, schedules and provides technical guidance and design expertise in the planning, repair, modification and maintenance of
ships and other productive work.

2. Provides engineering liaison with waterfront production efforts. Participates in engineering studies as assigned, assists in the preparation,
conduct and evaluation of inspections, tests and trials.

3. Supervises and coordinates engineering projects as directed by Production Manager.

4. Provides technical guidance and assistance in the planning, design, repair, modification and overhaul in the areas of ship’s hull structure,
outfitting and preservation.

5. Perform inspection and evaluation services on all hull and outfitting. Conducts inclining experiments and stability calculations.
Performs docking calculation.

6. Analyzes integrated ship performance speed maneuvering characteristics and provides recommendation as required. Participates in
inspections and sea trials of ships.

7. Conducts engineering studies in hull and outfitting areas including analysis of existing operating problems.
Supervises underwater hull inspections of drydocked and waterborne ships.

8. Develops methods and procedures for the operation, repair and maintenance of hull and outfitting areas.
