Job Description
Do you stay calm under pressure and know how to act fast when it matters most? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate First Aider to be the go-to person in medical emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on-site.
We are seeking a responsible and qualified First Aider to provide immediate and effective first aid response in case of injury or illness in the workplace. The First Aider will play a key role in supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring a safe environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and appropriate first aid treatment to injured or ill individuals.
Evaluate medical situations and determine whether further medical attention is required.
Maintain and regularly inspect all first aid kits and supplies to ensure readiness.
Keep accurate and confidential records of all incidents and treatments administered.
Support emergency response procedures, including evacuation and accident management.
Promote a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing among staff.
Assist in the delivery of basic health and safety training or briefings if required.
Liaise with emergency services and assist them as necessary during incidents.
Stay updated with relevant first aid protocols and health & safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid First Aid at Work Certification (or equivalent recognized qualification).
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm, act quickly, and make sound decisions in emergencies.
Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills.
