Job Description
-Degree in Accounting or a related field
-Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the insurance industry
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
-Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of maintaining accurate and compliant financial records
-Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
-Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations
-Provide tax planning and compliance support, ensuring the organization meets all relevant taxation requirements
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
-Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement appropriate process improvements
