Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager should be able to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the project until completion. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: scheduling, logistics, planning/design, assigning staff, securing resources, assessing risk and its management, coordinating with the various departments/affiliates which contribute to the project as a whole to ensure that things are being delivered on time, ensuring that budgets are met, drawings and specifications are adhered to, and informing/updating all the involved parties in the project of its progress and any related issues of concern.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage, handle and undertake one (1) project for the company.
-Should be able to prepare a detailed construction schedule and construction budget of the project/s he is undertaking. The detailed schedules or work plans (construction and budget) shall identify the sequences of the activities needed to successfully implement and complete the project.
-Should be able to determine the resources required to undertake the project.
-Shall discuss, define and review the scope of the project and the project schedule and budget with the project management team and management. He can propose and introduce changes/revisions to further improve the project implementation. He shall prepare reports on the project for management information, review and assessment.
-Develop a project schedule that will effectively allocate the resources to the project activities.
-Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
-Manage the project staff according to the established policies, rules and regulation of the project organization and of the company.
-Ensures that all project personnel are appropriately oriented/well informed on the project organization and of the company.
-Periodically monitors the progress and quality of the project’s various work areas and performance of its workforce and introduce adjustments as necessary to ensure that the project meets the company’s operational standards.
-Develop forms and records to document the construction activities. Shall set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
-Manage, monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures.
-Periodically monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to management based on company accounting policies and procedures.
-Makes decisions in the project based approve plans, drawings and specifications, on good and sound construction practice.
-Ensures that the project deliverables are made on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
-Evaluates the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
-Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must posses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
-Must be a licensed Civil Engineer.
-Must have at least 10 years of prior working experience in the construction industry
-With 5 years Project Manager experience is preferred.
-With experience in handling a project from pre-con to post-construction.
-Must have had on site supervision experience.
-Must be experienced in handling a team.
-Must be experienced in handling high rise projects.
