Purchasing Staff

1. Maintain a strong working relationship with vendors.
2. Monitor stock levels and determine purchasing needs.
3. Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
4. Ensure the quantity and quality of purchase orders.
5. Conduct marketing research to identify pricing trends.
6. Perform related job duties as required.
7. Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with maintaining the legal interaction with them.
8. Budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available.
9. Health and safety, Quality and other legal requirements.
10. Overseeing any large procurement that may happen.
11. Monitor prices fluctuation.
12. Make sure suppliers are with proper documentation especially those who supply food grave items.
13. Routinely check with warehouse, production etc. that products arrive in good condition.
14. Good understanding of market research.
15. Track and report key functional matrices to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
16. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
17. Assist the Production team with production-related tasks.
18. Take priority, schedule and maintain production activities to meet production objectives on time.
19. Handle inventory and inform stockroom status to the supervisor.
20. Create a production plan and set it to ensure the continued operation.
21. Create a logistic strategy to prevent downtime.
22. Create process improvements to improve operational efficiencies.
23. Discuss production updates and faults to management regularly.
24. Work with the management on budget analysis and forecasting.
25. Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
