Job Description
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in taxation and accounting
• 5 years of experience working with Regional Operating Headquarters (ROHQ) taxation and compliance
• 5 years of experience in tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
Job Description:
1. Taxation and Compliance:
• Oversee all taxation-related matters for the organization
• Perform tax computations, filings, and remittances accurately and timely
• Consolidate taxes for RO and Sun Life Global Solutions
• Ensure compliance with LGU, SEC, BIR, and other government agencies
• Prepare summary and schedules of taxes
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
2. Fixed Asset Management:
• Check and verify the submission of documents needed for capitalization and encoding in the Fixed Asset registry
• Perform necessary journal entries for Fixed Asset transactions, including transfers, disposals, and retirements
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of Asset recording
3. Financial Operations:
• Record, monitor, and update Cash and Travel advances
• Prepare summary and journal entries of Disbursements - Strengthen billing controls
• Assist in the preparation of corporate annual reports
4. Reporting and Analysis:
• Provide monthly Lapsing schedules and Spend reports
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring company operations performance
• Coordinate the preparation of information for external auditors during annual audits
5. Policy Adherence and Process Improvement:
• Ensure SLGS Finance adheres to corporate policies, standards, and operating guidelines
• Identify and implement process improvements in tax-related operations
6. Collaboration and Support:
• Assist the Accounting Manager with other duties as assigned
• Perform additional tasks as required from time to time
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

- ₱60,000.00 Monthly
