Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and monthly close processes
Prepare precise, timely financial statements (in accordance with GAAP)
Manage and enhance financial systems within QuickBooks
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Coordinate with external and internal auditors by providing clear documentation and explanations
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain financial health and drive performance
Recognize areas for improvement and lead efforts to streamline processes and automate tasks
Qualifications
Solid grasp of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling experience is a bonus)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and an eagle eye for detail
Comfortable working both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or pursuing CPA is a plus)
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proficient in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions)
