TABLEAU DEVELOPERS (PROJECT-BASED)

Position - Tableau Developers
Number of Vacancy Needed - 4 resources
Employment Type - Project Based/Independent Contractor for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal
Job Qualification - 3 years of hands-on development experience using Tableau.
Salary Range - P60, 000 to P80, 000 depending on experience
Work Location - client office in Pasay City
Work Schedule - day shift, Monday to Friday, remote work can be arranged for at least once a week

The Tableau Developers (Project-Based) are responsible for developing and
Implementing high-quality business intelligence (BI) projects within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement stable and scalable analytic and reporting solutions.
Deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs and
deadlines.
Participate in business analysis activities to gather necessary reporting and
dashboard requirements.
Translate business requirements into specifications for implementing reports and
dashboards from multiple data sources.
Document test cases and create test scripts.
Communicate results in a user-friendly format.
Validate reports to ensure data accuracy.
Design and implement Data Marts and Data Warehouses using best practices.
Utilize data modeling techniques to define and support database schema
development.
Create and automate reports.
Conduct data analysis for ad-hoc reporting needs.
Develop user guides and documentation for run management and ad-hoc
reporting.
Investigate quality control failures and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
Communicate effectively within and across teams.
Interact with customers to provide technical information via conference calls or
on-site meetings.
Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations and Support
Team.

Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information
Technology.

 Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau.
 Familiarity with one or more of the following areas:
 BI Tools: Power BI, SQL Server SSIS, SSAS & SSRS, Oracle Data
Integrations/OWB, Microstrategy, Datastage, Teradata, Cognos, SAP
Bobj, Qlikview, Yellowfin, Jaspersoft.
 Data visualization.
 Relational Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL).
 BI data architecture.
 Data warehouse design.
 Performance tuning and optimization.
 Designing data models, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and 1-3NF
data models.
 Logical and analytical skills.
 Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
 Capacity to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks across multiple work
streams.
 Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
 Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
 Attention to detail.
 Fundamental knowledge of Agile Methodology, SDLC, Waterfall, or any Project
Management Methodology is a plus.
 Background in scoping, planning, and project management is a plus.
 Self-motivated and able to work independently.
 Willing to work onsite on a day shift under an initial 6-month contract, with the
possibility of extension.
 Willing to start work immediately.
