Job Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and tech-savvy Merchandising Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end merchandising operations for Apple products across our retail network. This role is critical in ensuring the right product mix, pricing, and inventory levels while maintaining Apple’s global retail standards. Based in Taguig, this position will work closely with cross-functional teams and Apple’s regional partners to drive retail performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies for Apple products in alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Manage product lifecycle planning—from assortment, pricing, and promotions to phase-outs and new launches.
- Collaborate with Apple’s distributor and regional teams to ensure proper brand representation, compliance, and promotional alignment.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and consumer behavior to make data-driven product decisions.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels across all retail channels (physical stores and e-commerce), optimizing sell-through and minimizing overstock.
- Coordinate with Store Operations, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising to ensure compelling in-store displays and product storytelling.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on new Apple products, innovations, and competitor activity.
- Oversee the execution of new product launches, ensuring readiness across stores, marketing, and staff training.
- Create and manage SKU lists, price updates, inventory reports, and merchandising documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, set sales targets, and evaluate vendor performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or any related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or product planning—preferably in consumer electronics, tech, or premium retail.
- Strong understanding of the Apple ecosystem and retail presentation standards.
- Proven track record in managing product assortments, inventory planning, and retail pricing strategies.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience in sales and inventory analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory management systems, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for store visits, audits, and coordination with partners.
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience working with Apple or in Apple-authorized retail settings.
- Familiarity with e-commerce merchandising and omnichannel retail.
- Certification or training in product merchandising or category management is a plus.
- Passion for technology and innovation.
