Job Description
Respond to inbound calls, emails, or chat inquiries from patients, members, or providers.
Provide information on insurance coverage, benefits, claims status, and pre-authorizations.
Assist with appointment scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups.
Address billing questions and explain charges or payment options.
Document all interactions accurately in the system (EMR/CRM).
Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate departments (e.g., clinical, billing, or case management).
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare plans, policies, and services.
