Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The client, a well-established IT company in Australia with 38 years of industry experience, is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant to join their remote team. The role involves handling bookkeeping tasks, general admin work, customer follow-ups, and maintaining records.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage bookkeeping tasks using Xero (invoicing, recurring billing, financial tracking)
Perform general administrative work and ad hoc tasks as assigned
Update inventory records in the CRM system
Generate reports, including timesheet follow-ups
Attend to email inquiries and follow up with customers for payments

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in bookkeeping and administration for Australian clients
Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring financial tasks
Professional and neutral English accent for clear communication
Must have a quiet, distraction-free work environment (no background noise)
Must be comfortable using a screen monitoring tool provided by the client
