Pest Controller

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, kitchens, storage areas, and common spaces to identify signs of pests or infestations.
2. Apply chemical and non-chemical pest control treatments safely and effectively, in accordance with industry standards and local regulations.
3. Maintain records of pest activity, treatment schedules, and actions taken.
4. Collaborate with housekeeping and kitchen teams to identify high-risk areas and implement preventive measures.
5. Recommend sanitation improvements and structural changes to reduce pest access or infestation.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including proper storage and labeling of pest control substances.
7. Coordinate with external pest control service providers when necessary.
8. Respond promptly to pest-related complaints and resolve issues with minimal disruption to guests.
9. Train staff on basic pest prevention techniques and sanitation practices.
10. Monitor the effectiveness of treatments and adjust plans as needed.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in pest control, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
3. Knowledge of safe handling and application of pest control chemicals and equipment.
4. Familiarity with local health and sanitation regulations.
5. Ability to work independently and handle emergency pest situations calmly.
