Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. They will ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and provide regular financial reports to management. The Finance Manager will also work closely with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments, and reconciling accounts
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Perform monthly and yearly closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, and provide regular financial reports to management
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards, and work closely with external auditors
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, and ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting transactions
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance reports
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
CPA license is preferred but not required
