Automation Test Engineer - Fully Remote

Must Have Skills
Experience with test management and documentation
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks
Experience with test management and documentation

Understanding of API testing
Ability to perform both functional and non-functional testing
Hands-on experience with:
Playwright (frontend automation testing)
JIRA (test case management)
OWASP ZAP (security testing)
PHPUnit (Laravel backend testing)
Jest (Node/TypeScript services testing)
CI/CD integration knowledge

Nice To Have Skills
React Testing Library + Jest for component-level testing
JMeter for performance and stress testing
Lighthouse for React application performance metrics
Postman for API documentation and testing
Specialized knowledge:
Multi-tab and mobile testing
API testing within Playwright
Parallelization for stress testing
Handling explicit errors instead of relying on auto-retry

Qualifications
Experience with manual testing and transitioning to automation
Ability to work independently (without a testing lead)
Familiarity with the required tech stack and frameworks
Formal qualifications are not required, but practical experience is key
Open to candidates with transferable skills

Strong documentation skills for test cases
Good communication skills for stakeholder interactions and test sign-offs
Ability to implement testing strategies and recommendations
Decision-making responsibilities: test sign-offs for functional and non-functional aspects
