Job Description

Job Title: Purchasing and Inventory Management Officer

Department: Accounting

Reports To: Accounting Supervisor

Supervises: Warehouseman

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Purchasing and Inventory Management Officer to provide efficient administrative support related to purchases and acquisitions of the company. The ideal candidate will ensure that all requirements regarding purchases and acquisitions are effectively sustained, implementing consistently the policies within the bounds of our mission, vision, and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the development of annual plans and programs for purchasing and inventory management

* Oversee and perform purchasing functions, including receiving purchase requisitions, canvassing suppliers, and preparing purchase orders

* Conduct physical count of stored company properties and reconcile with system-generated inventory count

* Generate monthly inventory reports and process accounts payable vouchers

* Perform other tasks related to purchasing, inventory management, and supplier accreditation

Requirements:

* College graduate in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Financial Management

* At least 3 years of experience directly related to Procurement and Inventory Management

* Knowledge of procurement procedures, quality and technological standards, and administrative and clerical procedures

* Strong negotiation, organizational, people, and communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and in-house technology

* Ability to analyze relationships of numbers and information

* Strong understanding of people management principles
