Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
Registered Electrical Engineer
Minimum 2 years of experience in designing solar PV systems, including residential, commercial, or utility-scale projects.
Hands-on experience with solar PV design tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or SolarEdge Designer.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of solar PV system components, configurations, and installation practices.
Familiarity with solar industry standards, including NEC, IEC, and other relevant codes.
Understanding of grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar power systems.
Proficiency in electrical load calculations, system sizing, and shading analysis.
Experience with energy storage solutions and battery integration is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with project managers, clients, and contractors.
Ability to create detailed technical documentation and reports.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel for site assessments and inspections.
Familiarity with permitting, utility interconnection, and compliance processes.
Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainability goals.
