Finance Transformation Consultant Direct Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Transformation Consultant specializing in Direct Tax to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping organizations optimize their tax processes through technology, automation, and strategic transformation initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in direct tax regulations, finance transformation strategies, and tax technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute finance transformation initiatives focused on direct tax compliance, reporting, and planning.
Assess current direct tax processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Implement and optimize tax technology solutions to enhance compliance, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
Work closely with finance, tax, and IT teams to design and integrate digital tax solutions.
Provide guidance on regulatory changes and their impact on tax operations and compliance.
Develop and execute roadmaps for direct tax transformation aligned with business goals.
Support tax strategy, risk management, and process standardization initiatives.
Conduct training and workshops for stakeholders on new tax technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with external vendors and technology providers to implement tax automation tools.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
CPA, CFA, or relevant tax certifications (e.g., CTA) preferred.
5+ years of experience in direct tax, finance transformation, or tax technology consulting.
Strong knowledge of direct tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Experience with tax automation tools such as ONESOURCE, SAP Tax, Alteryx, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in data analytics, process automation, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
