Job Description
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, tracking
expenses, and supporting tax compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who
can maintain organized financial records and work closely with management to ensure smooth
financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Transaction Recording – Maintain accurate records of income and expenses.
- Invoice and Bill Management – Track, organize, and process invoices and supplier payments.
- Petty Cash Tracking – Monitor cash usage, reconcile petty cash, and ensure proper documentation.
- Bank Reconciliation Support – Assist in reconciling bank statements and verifying transactions.
- Payroll Support – Assist in payroll processing, including computing salaries and statutory deductions.
- Expense Tracking – Monitor business expenses and ensure accurate reporting.
- Tax Compliance (Admin Work) – Support the preparation and filing of BIR reports and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
- Ad-hoc Financial Tasks – Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management or the accounting team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may apply).
- Knowledge of Philippine tax compliance (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to relocate to Siargao (accommodation provided).
- On-site role only (no remote work).
