OB also works with other government and non-government agencies, both in the local and national levels, churches, and other groups which serve the best interest of its target beneficiaries.

Job Description

This job entails planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring the children’s program of Operation Blessing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepares/design project plans for Children’s Program.

2. Conducts assessment of beneficiaries and incorporating cultural perspectives and needs in the program activities.

3. Maintaining accurate beneficiaries records/folders and program records.

4. Ensures proper coordination of activities to all departments involved in the program.

5. Managing program budgets, tracking of expenses and compliance with financial policies and procedures.

6. Preparing reports on program outcomes and impact for stakeholders.

7. Monitoring program effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement and making adjustment to the program implementation.

8. Building relationships with community partners and organizations.

9. Always ensures responsible representation.

10. Performs other functions being assigned by Program Manager and Department Head

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Community Development or equivalent work

2. Experience on working with children, educational and youth development programs.

3. Skills to manage staff and volunteers effectively.

4. Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Ability to network at various levels

7. Ability to travel for extended periods and adapt to field working conditions

8. Ability to identify and address challenges that may arise during program implementation

9. Computer proficiency (MS applications)
