Key Points:

▪18+ years of age, no upper limit as such
▪ Enter on an Ordinary Visa (E class)
▪ Degree is not a core requirement, but it is helpful
▪ Government accredited (regulated) TESOL, TEFL or CELTA is required
▪ Must have a clear background check – not more than six months old
▪ Key documents should be notarised and legalised in home country
▪ Advanced English language skills
▪ Typically, must be able to commit for a minimum of six months, agreements can be up to twelve months (renewable)
▪ Previous teaching experience is not a core requirement

▪ Job opportunities are mainly in large cities – Phnom Penh, Siem Reap
▪ Foreign teachers typically earn US $800.00 US $1,200.00 a month
▪ Savings capacity is 40% +/- without cutting corners

Applicants must pay a $270 deposit, with the remaining $590 due at least 14 days before the start date.
