Job Description

Transport Goods: Safely and efficiently deliver packages, products, or materials to customers, clients, or businesses within assigned routes and timelines.
Vehicle Operation: Operate delivery vehicles (vans, trucks, or other company vehicles) in a safe manner, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel usage.
Loading and Unloading: Load products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are properly secured. Unload and deliver items at the destination, verifying the accuracy and condition of the delivery.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, ensuring that all items are delivered as requested and addressing any issues or concerns. Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company positively.
Documentation: Complete and maintain necessary delivery paperwork, including delivery receipts, invoices, and logs of deliveries made. Ensure that all documentation is signed, dated, and filed properly.
Inventory Check: Verify the quantity and condition of goods before and after delivery, ensuring that any discrepancies or damages are reported and addressed.
Delivery Confirmation: Obtain signatures from customers as proof of delivery, ensuring that all deliveries are confirmed.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that the vehicle is maintained in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly. Comply with company safety protocols and local traffic regulations at all times.
Timeliness and Efficiency: Strive to meet or exceed delivery deadlines while ensuring the safety of the vehicle and products during transit.
Equipment Handling: Use delivery tools, such as GPS, smartphones, or hand-held devices, to track deliveries and confirm locations.
