Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) officer to ensure
product quality, maintain ISO compliance, and drive continuous improvement in our
manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee production quality control,
manage ISO 9001/14001 systems, and optimize documentation processes in a fast-paced
PEZA-registered environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Quality Control:
1. Conduct in-process inspections and final product testing to meet international
standards.
2. Analyze defects, root causes, and implement corrective actions
3. Monitor production line performance and provide real-time feedback to
operators.
ISO System Management:
1. Lead internal audits and prepare for external ISO certifications
2. Develop and update quality management procedures to align with regulatory
requirements.
3. Train employees on quality standards and best practices.
Documentation & Compliance:
1. Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test results, and non-
conformance reports.
2. Manage controlled documents (e.g., work instructions, specifications) in
compliance with ISO requirements.
Process Improvement:
1. Identify opportunities to enhance quality processes using quality tools
2. Collaborate with R&D, production, and procurement teams to resolve quality
issues.
Supplier & Customer Relations:
1. Evaluate supplier quality performance and conduct audits as needed.
2. Support customer complaints handling and provide technical reports.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing
(preferably plastics, electronics, or automotive sectors).
Proven track record in ISO system implementation and audit preparation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ISO 9001/14001 standards and quality tools
Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts) and familiarity with ERP systems
Knowledge of Philippine PEZA regulations and international standards
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on process efficiency and compliance.
