Job Description
Graduate of four (4) years course preferably related to Statistics, Marketing, Product
Development and Mathematics.
Preferably experience at least 5 years in Bank operation and Microfinance.
Essential Functions:
A. Administrative Function
1. Recommend to the management for new product and technology relevant to
banking operations.
2. Update the President of any project activity and product development and
incubation timelines.
3. Coordinate with other Bank Departments on other matters that require their
attention /action.
4. Coordinate with Consultant if any regarding project requirements.
B. Technical Management
5. Supervise the project development, activity and pilot testing.
6. Recommend to the management for new product and technology relevant to
banking operations.
7. Provide direction for project activity of research team.
8. Formulate project proposal upon direction by the President.
9. Channel relevant information gathered by the research team to the President.
10. Implement and monitor the quality and regularity of outputs of the field
research team.
11. Visit onsite project activities and product pilot testing.
12. Conduct pre and post-testing of the project.
Competencies:
The position required the application of research knowledge, communication both in verbal and written skills, work with less supervision, technical skills, problem solving, analytical and presentation skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible to supervise Research Assistant
Work Environment:
Office and field work
Physical Demands:
Physically fit enough to do field works.
Leg works – walking- house to house interview.
Talking – during FDG to target research subject (Farmers and Clients).
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Minimum 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday with minimal supervision and shall render
overtime as needed.
Travel:
Expect 80% travel to do field works anywhere within Panay island and 20% office works on documentation of report.
