Job Description
2. Planning and control of installation of broadcast compound.
3. Planning and control of installation of International Broadcast Coordination Centre (IBCC), technical and production rooms.
4. Monitoring of construction, installation and readiness of broadcaster zones, areas and facilities, including, but not limited to, camera positions, commentary positions, Host Broadcast (HB) and other offices etc.
5. Planning of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE), TEAP for all the Broadcast operations spaces and zones.
6. Control of general services for HB and MRLs, including logistics, transportation, technical services, IT etc.
7. Coordination and cooperation with FIFA TV, HBS, HB, broadcast technical suppliers and other stakeholders.
8. Control and coordination of procurement of broadcast infrastructure-related equipment.
9. Liaison with the power contractor regarding the installation and management of the generators power supply, power cabling etc. Include Technical Services reference.
10. Control of preparation of documentation for the event’s power plan, including fuel management, set up timelines, technical staff management, power cabling, etc.
11. Coordination of the development of Broadcast Power Provision Plan.
12. Supervision of the provision of technical power for all listed broadcast areas (Broadcast Compound, Production Offices, Commentary positions, camera positions, etc.)
13. Supervision of the provision of domestic power for all broadcast areas (TV compound, production offices, commentary positions, etc.)
14. Liaison with LOC Logistics and Custom Clearance Authorities and any parties importing equipment for the purpose of the event in order to facilitate its entry into the country. Control of management of the clearance needs of any RF and transmission regulations.
15. Ensure effective cooperation between FIFA TV, HBS, HB an LOC.
16. Ensure effective working conditions and cooperation with Media rights licensees on-site.
17. Take part in all relevant FIFA site inspection to fully understand the broadcast needs for the event.
18. Conducting regular meetings and briefing with appropriate LOC departments, FIFA counterparts, HBS, HB representatives and suppliers.
19. Ensuring the functioning and the quality of all necessary technical services for Broadcast and TV operations.
20. Collaboration with technical specialist and control of prompt resolution of technical issues and incidents.
21. Monitoring of the effective organization of the Broadcast and TV operations according FIFA requirements.
22. Preparation of progress reports and statuses on the readiness of broadcast infrastructure and Broadcast and TV operations.
23. Preparation of knowledge report and final report on the Broadcast and TV operations.
24. Management and coordination of Broadcast and TV operations staff and volunteers.
25. Development of training material and running training sessions for staff and volunteers to ensure the effective broadcast and TV operations on-site.
