Laboratory/Sampling Assistant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Laboratory and Sampling Assistant to support our team in preparing prototypes, conducting experiments, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized laboratory environment. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and an interest in laboratory work, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing prototypes for sweets and savory applications for internal evaluations and customer presentations.
Support the Application Specialist in conducting experiments and trials.
Participate in sensory evaluations for selected projects.
Manage inventory, stock monitoring, and ordering of raw materials, flavor samples, and lab supplies.
Prepare and dispatch samples for local customers and Givaudan affiliates.
Schedule and coordinate calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Ensure compliance with EH&S policies by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.

Technical Competencies & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in common PC applications (Excel, Word, MS Access).
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety, Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and hygiene/environmental guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with different teams.
