Job Description:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring the company's financial operations are efficiently documented and compliant with relevant regulations. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Maintain an accurate record of income, expenses, accounts payable, and receivable.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and financial reports.
Assist with payroll by preparing salary payments and calculating deductions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
Manage and maintain petty cash transactions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Coordinate with accountants during audits and for tax filing.
Monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
Identify discrepancies and reconcile data where necessary.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial data confidentially.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
Experience working with payroll and tax regulations.
Knowledge of local financial regulations.
