Job Description
Driving & Transporting: Operate commercial trucks, trailers, or delivery vehicles to transport goods to specified locations.
Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Safety Compliance: Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws, as well as company safety regulations.
Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the truck (e.g., checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels).
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, invoices, and inspection reports.
Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers and report any issues or delays.
Problem-Solving: Handle unexpected issues, such as traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns, or delivery discrepancies.
