Job Description
As a Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of client invoices. Your role involves ensuring all necessary billing documents are complete, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining records of billed and unbilled projects. You will also support the team in addressing billing issues and monitoring the invoicing process to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the completeness of billing resources (e.g., DTRs, rate cards, related correspondence, billable items per project).
• Prepare client billing/invoice and submit it to your immediate superior and client approver on time.
• Record billed projects in the invoice Excel monitoring sheet.
• Post billed projects into the billing system to maintain accurate records.
• Address and solve tickets raised in the ticketing tool related to billing issues.
• Coordinate with the immediate superior to resolve any billing-related concerns or issues.
• Monitor unbilled projects and follow up for submission to your immediate superior.
• Assist in reconciling any discrepancies related to billing, ensuring accuracy.
• Ensure all billing processes are compliant with company policies and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other billing or accounting software.
• Ability to handle billing-related issues efficiently and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
