Safety Officer

Safety Officer – Creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs for employees that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace. Training employees on the importance of health and safety on the job.

Will establish strong connection with government offices such as Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippines Economic Zone Authority and other government related agency.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of engineering.
Completed the training course on BOSH.
At least Five (5) years of experience in the field of manufacturing industry.
With license as Radiation Safety Officer Is a plus.

Job Description:
Compile Safety Programs.
Practice safe working techniques
Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.
Maintain compliance of all safety regulations related to BFP, PEZA and other government related establishment.
Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.
Standardise health and safety in order to remain consistent.
Identify hazardous waste and disposal of it correctly.
Promote safety initiatives.
Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.
Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.
Regularly inspect equipment.
