Audit Associate

This person is responsible for conducting internal audits and providing independent and objective evaluations of the company’s financial and operational activities. The role involves assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement audit plans and programs.
Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of high risk and prioritize audit activities.
Perform audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
Evaluation of Internal Controls:
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
Collaborate with other departments to provide guidance on risk management and internal controls.
Serve as an advisory resource for internal control and compliance matters.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses.
Document audit procedures, work performed, and conclusions reached.
Present audit findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 1- 3 years of internal auditing experience.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
