Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will work within small cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver user-centric solutions.

You'll engage with various parts of the business to deeply understand our customers' needs and develop data-driven hypotheses to address them. Your contributions will focus on creating and iterating solutions that are rapidly deployed and capable of validating key assumptions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable React applications.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Apply strong UI/UX principles to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
Implement component-driven design systems for consistency and scalability.
Integrate and manage GraphQL APIs for efficient data handling.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented JavaScript/TypeScript code.
Champion quality through the development and implementation of automated tests.
Contribute to and promote best practices in frontend development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions to validate business and user assumptions.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

Proven experience developing complex React applications in production environments.
Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
A keen eye for design and aesthetics with a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.
Hands-on experience with component-driven design systems.
Proficient in working with GraphQL APIs.
Passion for building high-quality, reliable, and user-focused products.
Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred skills/expertise

Experience with modern frontend build tools and CI/CD workflows.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance optimisation.
Knowledge of backend technologies and how frontend and backend systems interact.
