Sales Engineer - Trainee

We are looking for a Sales Engineer - Trainee who will specialize in understanding the technical aspects of our products and effectively communicating them to potential customers. This role involves providing technical support, consulting on product development, and assisting customers with product usage.

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer demands and provide necessary support.
Handle customer inquiries, answer technical questions, and provide problem-solving solutions.
Develop and present design alternatives when needed, clearly explaining the rationale behind each option.
Manage multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Proactively communicate with the team to address customer needs and manage workload effectively.
Propose final purchase recommendations and offer competitive pricing to customers.
Secure orders, ensure product quality, and guarantee timely delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty.
Assist clients in troubleshooting product-related issues.
Provide timely and accurate initial cost estimates for client inquiries.

Qualifications & Skills:
Willing to travel domestically and regionally.
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor under pressure.
Must be a board passer, preferably a graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Solid understanding of engineering technical drawings and metal fabrication.
Experience in sales or marketing within the steel industry is a significant advantage.
Fresh graduates with excellent academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Bisaya is required.

Work Location:
Primarily based in Davao, with assignments in Manila and Davao as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Starting at ₱16,000 (Davao rate) during the trainee period.
Salary adjustments after 3 months, based on performance.
Further salary adjustment upon regularization.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Saturday, depending on the sales team schedule.
