Sales Engineer Trainee

Job Description:
- A sales professional who specializes in understanding all of the technical aspects of a technical product and explaining them to potential consumers. Their duties include consulting on product development, explaining product features to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
- Support customer inquiries by fielding calls while being a source of information and problem solving to client satisfaction.
- Develop design alternatives when necessary and clearly communicate the reasons for the design alternatives.
- Prioritize and multitask during high volume periods and maintain customer parameters.
- Continuously communicate with the team to resolve customer needs and proactively manage workload.
- Propose final buy and competitive pricing to customers.
- Secure orders, guarantee product standard and assure product timely delivery.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
- Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
- Generate initial cost estimates for client inquiry in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications:
- No issue with domestic and regional travelling
- Good communications skills
- Handles “pressure situations” with a professional demeanor
- Board passer – Preferably a graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- With good technical understanding of engineering technical drawings and metal fabrication
- Experience in Sales/Marketing in the steel industry is a big advantage.
- Fresh graduates with excellent credentials are encouraged to apply.

- Able to know how to drive a 4-wheel vehicle
