Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Management (70%)
- Plan, manage, and oversee packaging projects from briefing to final delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Maintain clear communication between designers, clients, and production teams.
- Handle project tracking, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Ensure all files meet print and brand guidelines before final submission.
- Conduct quality checks and approvals for packaging artwork.
Artwork & Production (30%)
- Apply amends to packaging artwork based on client feedback.
- Prepare and check files for print production, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain version control of packaging files and follow brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with designers to refine and finalise artwork as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in project management within a packaging, design, or creative environment.
- Strong understanding of packaging artwork and print production processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience with Blender, Adobe Dimension, or other 3D software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skill Set: Print Production Manager
In addition to packaging project management and artwork production, candidates with experience in print production management will have an advantage. The role requires a solid understanding of print processes, materials, and production workflows.
Print Production Skills
- In-depth knowledge of offset, digital, and flexographic printing techniques.
- Understanding of substrates, coatings, and finishing options for packaging and print production.
- Experience in colour management, proofing, and press approvals.
- Ability to liaise with print vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality output and cost efficiency.
- Knowledge of pre-press and file preparation for large-scale print production.
- Familiarity with packaging regulations, sustainability, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in optimising production schedules and managing print budgets.
- Proficiency in print production software, including Adobe Acrobat, Enfocus PitStop, and Esko tool (preferred).
