Job Description

The Project Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects related to waste management, including landfill development, waste processing facilities, and environmental remediation projects. This position requires expertise in civil engineering principles, as well as a strong commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design: Develop project plans and designs for waste management facilities, including landfills, recycling centers, and composting sites. Ensure designs comply with environmental regulations and best practices.
Site Assessments: Conduct site evaluations and environmental assessments to determine suitability for waste management projects. Analyze geological, hydrological, and environmental data.
Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation to regulatory agencies. Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental laws.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to communicate project goals, progress, and challenges. Address concerns and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Problem Solving: Identify potential challenges related to waste management projects and develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, drawings, and financial records. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, and interns.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Licensed Engineer preferred
With at least 2 years relevant working experience
Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
Strong understanding of waste management practices and environmental regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
Willing to start ASAP and to work in Parañaque City
