Job Description
Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Java Enterprise Edition. Your typical day will involve working with Linux and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop and maintain applications that meet the needs of our clients in Manila.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java Enterprise Edition applications that meet business process and application requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application requirements, ensuring that applications are delivered on time and within budget.
- Configure and deploy applications to production environments, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working closely with end-users to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application development, including Linux, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Japanese language skills.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Japanese language skills. at least JLPT N3
- Strong understanding of application development best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with application deployment and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Solid grasp of database design and development, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
- This position is based in Manila.
