Job Description
• Analyze alternative schemes for achieving the project objectives by removing the non-essential features which do not contribute to the
intended function and lessen the cost of the project without sacrificing the quality and integrity of the structure.
• Provide the necessary functions in the project based on value engineering principles.
• Analyze and audit the project’s performance based on value engineering principles.
• Analyze alternative construction methodology and material
• The VE/VA Specialist may follow the principles of VE/VA in accordance with the DPWH Guidelines to Value Engineering (2015), NEDA
Value Analysis Handbook (2009), and other applicable references/standards.
• He/She will assist the Structural Specialist in providing inputs on the Project Implementation work plan/methodology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Must be a Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer
• Must have five (5) years of experience in the Value Engineering/Value Analysis of any infrastructure project.
• With Certification from SAVE International as "Certified Value Specialist" (CVS).
