Job Description
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
- Prepare and review import/export documentation for accuracy.
- Classify goods according to tariff codes and applicable duties.
- Liaise with customs officials to resolve clearance issues.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and update internal policies.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
- Advise internal teams on customs procedures and best practices.
- Develop strategies to optimize customs clearance and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Customs
- Proven experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and tariff classifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in customs clearance software and documentation systems.
- Certification in customs brokerage is a plus.
- Has own motorcycle.
Compensation Package: PHP 16,000-18,000
Work Location: Western Bicutan, Taguig
