Job Description

A marine valve mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and replacing valves on marine vessels, including ships and boats, by identifying malfunctions, disassembling components, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring proper functionality of the valve system, often working in tight spaces and adhering to strict safety regulations; their duties may include troubleshooting valve issues, performing preventative maintenance checks, and documenting repairs on marine equipment.
Qualification’s
High school graduate or any related vocational courses.
Degree in mechanical engineering preferable is a plus
Proficiency with tools and equipment used for valve maintenance and repair.
Knowledge of marine engine and electrical auxiliary systems.
Knowledge of marine hydraulic systems and related parts.
