Job Description
Record all financial transactions in the appropriate ledgers and journals and ensure that the General Ledger is up-to-date, accurate and balanced.
Generate accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal management and external stakeholders such as, but not limited to, balance sheet, income and cash flow statements, budgets, financial forecasts and Cost Volume Profit (CVP) analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and tax laws and regulations.
Coordinate closely with external bookkeepers for the processing of regulatory payments (e.g BB, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth).
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other tax-related documents.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement, as needed.
Analyze financial data to provide insights into the business’ performance and financial health.
